Although Graham
Holly
has an
approach to music that
is similar to that of his idol -
Buddy Holly,
his guitar playing is also influenced by
Chuck Berry,
Cliff Gallup
and Scotty Moore.
He likes writing and playing what he feels and this in turn means that
there is a lot of variation in his music.
Like his idol he likes rock and roll and rockabilly as well as the
blues but he also performs ballads.
Although Graham is capable of singing and playing just like Buddy
(which he very often does), 'Only
You', his
first album is totally original. It contains 12 great tracks which are
all Graham Holly.

Graham started off in
the eighties playing in various bands until finally forming a
rockabilly trio called 'The
Chargers'.
Although this band had lots of success it sadly split up after a few
years but by this time Graham was already writing original songs.
'Only You'
came about as a result of those early years and is proof that rock and
roll is alive and well and the art of song writing is not dead.
